According  to my point of view , promotion technique would be more advantageous for the company in the war of competition  . A  business which is running by making an strong impact upon its customers through its qualitative brand after giving its maximum efforts over decades  to earn its consumers ‘ trust can attract its customers by promoting that brand with some desired  additional features into it.

For example ,

Corolla Car engineers are consistently leading in the auto markets because its brand promoting strategy . They are constantly  added some qualitative and modern features into as per the demand of its customers to provide them maximum comfort and luxuries. Thus, instead of  making plans and strategies to overcome the market by hitting  theirs competitors they focus to promote their brand. Moreover, hitting the competitors’  brand depicts the company’s weaknesses and rivalry with its opponents that can be alarming to distort the image of that brand . Not only this , hitting strategy can also bears  risk with it by the side of its opponents as every action has some reaction. Thus,  Through brand promoting strategy  the company can not only win the market and customers  but also literally improve their products .Like this, the think tanks of the organization invests their time and efforts, which later on pay back to them as they can introduce major productive changes in that brand with little efforts . So, we can say that this is a sword with its both sharp edges , one end is used to satisfy the consumers with the  fulfillment of their demands and other is used to prove its strengths over its competitors .

Therefore, brand promotion strategy  will work  well to give boost to the business and its turnover because the fain of that brand have keen interest in its promotion,  even sometimes they are waiting for brand promotion because of the strong image of that brand . In this way, they are easily compelled to purchase it under their previous beneficial  and productive experience .

MGT503 (2nd GDB)

Solution:

In my point of view many successful Pakistani organizations are follow the principles of scientific management who's described by Fredrick Winslow Taylor. and aslo large number of companies and firm are not follows fully or Partially.

Introduction of Scientific Management:

Fredrick Taylor is a father of scientific management.  Scientific management explains the uses of scientific method. When most people to hear this word science the first image that comes into their minds is one of test tube, computers, white lab coats or rocket ship etc.

These outward accessories are part of science. But now this modern era a lot of sciences are deals with physical, material world and involve in study of people their beliefs, behavior, interactions, attitudes institutions and so forth.

Scientific management is also called ''Taylorism'' . Taylor's principles define how to deal or don their job in efficiently manners. Taylor's four principles of scientific management.

Why organizations are following the principles of scientific management in  Pakistani 

Before 21st century there is no awareness about scientific method but now this fast growing modern technological competitive era emphasizing on scientific management and also Pakistani organizations and their people known these principles as a labor's laws. So many Pakistani successful and well known organizations follows scientific management

In Pakistan example of these organizations are Masaud textile (MTM) Faisalabad, Chenab Mills ltd., Ibrahim Group etc.

Why Not  organizations are following the principles of scientific management in  Pakistani 

Because management of Pakistani organization specially local industries is not well educated and well aware management techniques and some Pakistani  organization even having knowledge, are not strictly follow these strict principles of scientific mananement . Also after 21st century there increase  awareness about scientific method or principles of Taylor but  most of firms or companies aimed earn maximize profit not focus on their employees and customer’s needs, wants and satisfaction.

  • Question: Organization ABC is an IT company developing softwares for an international market. Due to Dot COm Crisis, its market is disappeared. However when the budget was made, the expected incom from exports had been included. this meant that the organization ABC stood to make a big loss

  • if u were the GM of this organization what would you do?why?

"An entity where two or more than persons working together for same purpose is called Organization"

                   

So according to the definition principles of management is applicable in both type of organizations whether it is profitable or non profitable.

 

When organization starts working it has some goals to achieve. So with management goals of organization can be easily achieved. Management has to perform five basic principles of management i.e. objectives, organizing, motivating, communicating and establishing measurements of performance and developing people to achieve there goals.
